Wild & Fun Cardboard Box Boat Race                Free to Fitness Plus

Build your boat out of cardboard and duct tape then climb inside and paddle down the pool and back.  It’s a wild time with lots of laughing and sinking.  Well, some float, depends on how well you build your boat.  Need something fun to do on a hot summer day?  Come to our pool and watch or participate in the race. Race packets are available at the NHRC and have the guidelines for building and racing your boat.  NHRC waiver must be filled out.

Pirates (18 & over)  Tidalwave (13-17) Sharks & Minnows (Adult & child 12 & under)

Date: Saturday, August 7   Cost: $10 per crew     Setup time: 9-9:45am Bring your boat in whole or in parts and put the finishing touches on it. Set up will be on the indoor track.  10am -The races start! Three boats in the water at a time.
